Pheasant Hunting | AAA Pheasant Heaven - Presho, SD

The best way to explain the perfection of our hunt is to say: For the last five years, every hunter has bagged 100% of the limit for wild pheasants. We offer more than 8,000 acres of natural cover and agricultural land that create extremely desirable habitat for the ringneck pheasant. You will be hunting only wild pheasants on our property. Bring your own dogs or use ours. Either way, we know they'll be enthusiastic about the opportunity to flush birds for you. It has been nearly 70 years since South Dakota's first pheasant season and the experience just keeps getting better. We look forward to sharing this great tradition of our great state with you this season.

Gear to Bring

Bring warm layered clothing because Lyman County weather can vary greatly during the season, ranging from 20 to 70 degrees. Don't forget comfortable walking boots. We recommend a 12 gauge gun for pheasant, although some prefer 20 gauge. Don't forget your camera!

Licensing

Pheasant hunting requires a Small Game license, which is available in unlimited quantities to residents and nonresidents alike. Licenses may be purchased over the counter from more than 400 registered agents or online.
